Cohorte Mentors

Teach the humans who will still matter.

Cohorte runs a twelve-week bootcamp for professionals who ship AI systems into serious places. Mentors are the reason it works. This site explains the role in the open, and gives active mentors the handbook they run from.

AI is only as good as the human operating it. We teach the human. Mentors teach them how. The thesis under everything in this handbook.

What this site is

Two layers, one site.

The public pages (the role, who we look for, time and compensation, how to apply, the FAQ) explain what mentoring at Cohorte means. Read these before you apply. Anyone can.

The handbook (how mentoring runs, the rubric, the 1:1 framework, the scoping call, the capstone, confidentiality, onboarding, invoicing) is the operating manual for active mentors. Those pages open once your mentor access is granted, after a short review. They are marked with a small lock in the sidebar.

Why a review. We do not bring in mentors who have not shipped. The review is a short screening call and one reference. It exists to protect the room, not to gatekeep for its own sake. Most people who shipped real systems and can write a sharp paragraph get through.

How it works, in one paragraph

Each cohort has three mentors and twenty-four students. You take eight. Students rotate across all three mentors so every student gets at least two sessions with each of you over the twelve weeks. You run biweekly 1:1s, write weekly rubrics, co-facilitate the occasional live session, and sign off the capstone at the end. You are not lecturing. You are challenging, reviewing, and holding the bar. The curriculum is built. Your job is the judgment around it.
